Commencement of New Academic session 2024-25

April 1, 2024 marked the commencement of new session at Maharaja Harisingh Agricultural Collegiate School Nagbani, Jammu. It was marked by a series of traditional rituals and ceremonies. Nearly 200 parents along with their wards were present on this auspicious occasion.

The program began with the traditional garlanding of Maharaja’s statue by the Principal along with his team. Bhajan and Group song was presented by the school music department as a part of the new sessions traditional start. It was followed by Hawan ceremony which is a spiritual practice that involves the chanting of vedic mantras and the lighting of the sacred fire. The aroma and the energy generated during the hawan created a serene and uplifting ambience, setting a harmonious tone for the new academic session and instilling a sense of peace and prosperity among the younger minds.

Principal, MHAC Nagbani Mr Brij Mohan in his welcome address ensured the best possible learning environment, highlighting the modern infrastructure, vast playgrounds, pollution free green environment, well equipped labs and classrooms, latest opening of Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) which will provide a nurturing environment, fostering academic excellence and holistic development of students. He also emphasized on DAV National Sports program which is of significant value as the certificates earned through this program greatly benefit the students in their pursuit of higher education especially in various professional colleges. He also stressed upon the achievements of our students in various sports and co-curricular activities at National as well as International Level. He conveyed his sincere appreciation for our Esteemed President DAVCMC Padamshree, Sh Punam Suri Ji under whose guidance and vision the school has been propelling towards greater heights of success and achievement. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the parents for reposing their faith in the Institute and motivated the students and staff to set a tone of enthusiasm for the upcoming academic session. The program concluded with the distribution of Prasad.
