Children’s Day Celebrations at MHAC School, Nagbani 14th Nov, 2019

MHAC School Nagbani celebrated Children’s Day with great gaiety and enthusiasm to mark the 30th Birth Anniversary of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, fondly called ‘Chacha Nehru’.

The Nagbanians saw their own reflections on the stage, in the form of their teachers, who presented special assembly, in school uniform and sang melodious group songs to express their love for students on this auspicious day.

The students show cased their immense talent and creativity with beautiful ‘Rangolis’ on the themes: ‘Women Empowerment’, ‘Say no to Junk Food’ and ‘Save Environment’. The competition intended to sensitise the students and display their talent by making the best out of waste.

The special attraction remained the ‘ethnic wear competition’ in which students depicted various colours and shades of India on the stage, through their vibrant ethnic attires.

To embellish the day, fancy dress competition of tiny toddlers was also organized, where kindergarten students dressed up as fruits, vegetables and animal, cartoon characters. They stole the show with their jubilant smiles and vibrant dresses.

To mark the students’ achievements in various co-curricular activities, the prize distribution ceremony was conducted and students were awarded trophies for their exceptional achievements in the current session. The school Principal Mrs. Sween Puri presided over the function and gave away the trophies to the winners and remembered Chacha Nehru in her speech.
