Maharaja Harisingh Agricultural Collegiate School, Nagbani, celebrated the birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji on Monday 21.09.2026 with a solemn and colourful commemorative programme at the school premises.

The programme commenced with the arrival of the distinguished guests, followed by a floral welcome. The chief guest on the occasion was Ms Ansuya Jamwal, Additional Divisional Commissioner Jammu, and Dr Arun Manhas, Director Industries and Commerce J&K. The guests were welcomed and escorted to the statue of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji by the Principal MHAC Mrs Sonia Anand, where they paid a floral tribute to the revered Maharaja Hari Singh Ji.

A Hawan was performed at the Yagyashalla, followed by Yagya Prarthna, Pushpanjali and Bhajan. Students also presented a Dogri song dedicated to Maharaja Hari Singh Ji, paying tribute to his life, legacy and his  contribution towards education and the betterment of the society

School Principal Mrs. Sonia Anand addressed the gathering and paid homage to Maharaja Hari Singh Ji, highlighting his contribution and historical significance.

Gifts were also distributed to the guest school for hearing impaired children Samaj Kalyan Kendra Shahidi Chowk Jammu, while the Chief Guests, LMC members and other invitees were honoured on the occasion.

In her address Ms Ansuya Jamwal, the chief guest applauded the school for carrying forward the great legacy of His Highness Maharaja Hari Singh Ji by imparting Vedic values and excellent education in the Jammu region.

The programme concluded with Shanti Path and distribution of Prasad among the participants and the august gathering.
